Ragi/Madua/Nachni/Finger Millet is a source of a multipurpose flour that can be used in several variety of dishes. A super house of nutrients, it is even safe to be consume by toddlers as young as six months. It is rich in protein, iron and calcium and has a higher amount of fiber compared to other cereals and grains. Other than rotis, it is also relished in the form of upma, idli, malt or could be used to bake cakes, cookies, puddings, porridges etc.
